I was saddened to learn that one of my favorite artists, Michael Turner, succumbed to his battle with the bone-based cancer chondrosarcoma last night. His work was exceptional, but it was his demeanor, courage, and personality at the conventions which made me a fan of his. We rarely are able to meet someone who steps above and beyond what life throws at them. Mr. Turner's most precious gift was not the talent he had as an artist, but the strength of character he displayed battling through his illness. My symapthies to his family and many friends and adoring fans.

I picked up six dozen different classic comics from the 1940s and 1950s this afternoon. Please send me your wantlists so I can make sure that you don't miss out on these rare goodies. These books are hard to replace.

This collector loved the scary books. I bought a box of 1970s horror comics and they are out for sale now in our Fredericksburg, VA. shop.

I just picked up a run of 128 out of the first 144 issues of this 1980s classic comic book series which is based on Hasbro's famous 3 3/4" action figure line. They are available through our store now.

We have full sized costumes of a Storm Trooper, Chewbacca, Yoda, and Darth Vader for sale. Stop on by and check them out

The list of signed comics from writers and artists we have available from HeroesCon in North Carolina is staggering. I will be posting the lists over the next few days as we process the books and certificates of authenticity for each book. My favorites are the few dozen Robert Kirkman books (Walking Dead, Invincible, Ultimate X-Men, Astounding Wolfman), the early Marvel Conan comics signed by Conan author Roy Thomas (starts at issue #2 and includes the first appearances of Red Sonja and Elric), Batman, Grendel comics signed by Matt Wagner, Original Teenage Mutant Ninija Turtles #2 signed by TMNT co-creator Peter Laird, and the Matt Fraction Punisher War Journal comics we were able to get autographed.

I bought 17 more vehicles this morning, including a Hiss tank, and a bunch of planes.

I have bought two comic collections today, both of which are mainly Bronze and Silver Age comics. We have Avengers, Fantastic Four, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Amazing Spiderman, more older war comics, some Dell stuff, a lot of Disney comics, a very long older run of Superman comics here, and many more titles available for sale.

We bought a pretty big comic collection last night during the crazy tornado weather. It consists of a really nice long run of Sub Mariner, Superman, Iron Man, The Avengers, Amazing Spiderman, and much more. I have 16 boxes available from this batch which will sell for just $1.00 each.

I bought a nice collection of signed comics and CGC comics yesterday which are now available for sale. We have signed books by many different writers and artists, including many key books. We have Jim Lee Batman and X-Men comics, Jeph Loeb Batmans, Todd McFarlane Spiderman comics, etc...

I bought so much stuff this week, we had to open another 12' x 28' storage unit to keep it from completely over flowing the store. Picture another 160 long boxes of comics, two dozen statues, original Batman artwork, a Jack Nicholson autographed photo, framed Batman posters, a huge Joker memorabilia collection, an Elvis toy collectiion, more original Gen 1 Transformers in the boxes, more 3 3/4" GI Joes in the boxes and on card, a large Spawn toy collection, more Star Wars action figures, over 2,000 new tpbs and prestige format comics, and much, much more. I am presently checking through the wantlists and have over 45 boxes of comics ready to sell now.
