Our new location is awesome folks. We have loaded in 226 long boxes of comics which we are selling at just .50 cents each. We easily have more than twice the space we had in the last store. The address is 419 Sophia St., just two blocks away from our old place. Call me if you need directions at 540-479-7728. The striking thing about the new place is the vast toy collection we have out for sale now. Did I mention no more stairs?

I was saddened to learn that one of my favorite artists, Michael Turner, succumbed to his battle with the bone-based cancer chondrosarcoma last night. His work was exceptional, but it was his demeanor, courage, and personality at the conventions which made me a fan of his. We rarely are able to meet someone who steps above and beyond what life throws at them. Mr. Turner's most precious gift was not the talent he had as an artist, but the strength of character he displayed battling through his illness. My symapthies to his family and many friends and adoring fans.

I picked up six dozen different classic comics from the 1940s and 1950s this afternoon. Please send me your wantlists so I can make sure that you don't miss out on these rare goodies. These books are hard to replace.

This collector loved the scary books. I bought a box of 1970s horror comics and they are out for sale now in our Fredericksburg, VA. shop.

I just picked up a run of 128 out of the first 144 issues of this 1980s classic comic book series which is based on Hasbro's famous 3 3/4" action figure line. They are available through our store now.

The list of signed comics from writers and artists we have available from HeroesCon in North Carolina is staggering. I will be posting the lists over the next few days as we process the books and certificates of authenticity for each book. My favorites are the few dozen Robert Kirkman books (Walking Dead, Invincible, Ultimate X-Men, Astounding Wolfman), the early Marvel Conan comics signed by Conan author Roy Thomas (starts at issue #2 and includes the first appearances of Red Sonja and Elric), Batman, Grendel comics signed by Matt Wagner, Original Teenage Mutant Ninija Turtles #2 signed by TMNT co-creator Peter Laird, and the Matt Fraction Punisher War Journal comics we were able to get autographed.
